A Start Point!

Aestate in Paris, France. at a bridge on La Seine near the Liberty Statue.

Aestate in Dijon, Burgundy, France, with his new friend Shane from Australia and the local star (the owl). Photo was taken by Shane Wombat.

Inspired by an Australian couple I came across in Dijon, France, during the holiday trip in this April, who shared with me the same idea of bringing our alter-ego mascots (my chicken and his mouse) to travel all the places, I find it is really a good idea to launch a Blog airing the experiences and photos I'v taken in my daily life. When I occasionally search the internet for the photo he took me with the two mascots, I surprisingly got the website of their blog on which the photo was posted. That's really the most wonderful thing for travel in which I could meet other tourists who would or not retrieve the same joies from the daily life and travelling. This chicken was named Aestate, the English name, or more exactly the Latin name, of me. This word means 'In Summer' in Latin because I was born in summer, and this wood chicken was a birthday gift from my friend last summer she bought in the Lake District, England. I couldn't remember when and why I got the idea to travel with it, but I believe it must be a good idea cause I've got quite a lot of funs from it. We have traveled in several countries and cities since this spring, but unfortunately I am engaged in preparing for my exams coming this end of may, so I'm afraid more articles and photos would not be posted till they've been finished. All articles will be written in English for 'internationalisation' and practicing my writing, despite it is not good though. Hope you enjoy this.
